3rd Annual See Jane Skate Comp A Success!
Okay, obviously I suck at updating this site - sorry for the late blog!
Thanks to all our generous sponsors, spectators, friends, family and especially thanks to all the female competitors who came out to rip it up at this year’s event the 2006 See Jane Skate girls skate comp was a huge success!
We had 11 girls competing, plus the addition of 6 wicked B-Girls who battled it out in a breakin’ showcase. Congrats to Tenia LaSaga on winning the Under-17 division and to Laura Silva for killing the 18+ category. Slam City Jam was a sponsor this year and part of first prize was a chance to compete in the Girls Open heat at Slam - Tenia gave a huge effort and got a chance to skate with some of her favorite pro skaters! “Slam was a blast, I met all the people that I wanted to - it was mind blowing, I’ll never forget it ever!” Tenia wrote after Slam.
